Overmolded Cable for Engine Timing This cable was designed for a major American motorcycle manufacture. One of the things that was unique about this project is that one end had to mate to a Deutsch connector that was on the motorcycle. By mating to the Deutsch male connector the latching must be a precision fit to insure a water tight fit. In addition the material selected must be impervious to gasoline, oil, grease and water. The material used in this overmolded cable assembly met all of the above criteria. |
